Tomorrow is going to be a busy day for the folks at NASA.   Atlantis is poised to become STS-129 as it heads to the International Space Station and the attempts to free the Mars rover Spirit from its predicament.

Spirit has been stuck in the same spot since April.  Mission managers, reluctant to make things worse have studied the problem and apparently arrived at the best strategy for getting Spirit mobile again.

The MER team will put the plan into action starting tomorrow and I know I’m not alone in wishing them good luck!
