The Japanese space agency, JAXA, is getting ready to launch another ambitious mission: AKATSUKI, the Venus Climate Explorer. The video from JAXA gives a nice overview.

I sent a message with my kids’ names. They’re only 4 and 6 yrs old but they’ll appreciate it one day.
