I’m 40 years old.I was probably in my crib. I heard all the crap. Did we land on the moon? Well we did!!to explain. Why isnt there any stars in the pictures? The glare from the moon cast the stars out
I was 24, just married & in Army. We’d moved into our apartment in Augusta,GA and watched Science Fiction come true. What a day – never to be forgotten. Sure glad the films have been restored!

A day to remember, I also watched as Shepherd demanded “Light this candle.”, and Glen’s close call.
I chewed my finger nails waiting for someone to say the Eagle had launched.
What a day.
I was on the recovery ship LPH New Orleans for Apollo 14. My helicopter had the TV cameras in it. Very exciting to see.
I was 8 at the time. I remember going to my grandparents house to watch it on their COLOR TV.
Growing up in Houston at the time was exciting, several of the Astronauts would come to our school and give talks about the Space Program.
I now wish I could remember which Astronauts it was.
