Here’s a NASA video about the recent findings of methane on the planet. The origin of the methane is yet to be determined, but the possibilities are exciting to say the least.

Thanks for the video, I think this is very exciting news and am personally voting for cows! I think if microbes are found to be responsible, the word “bovine” should be included in the latin name just to grab the credit for finding life outside Earth to our own beloved planet.

The writer in me sees the out gassing of an underground society. The realist sees the likelihood of chemical reaction. The investigator sees the need to continue to search for the answers. The dreamer sees what is left of the beginning of our ancestors.

As a layman’s point of view my understanding is that methane is the result of decomposition of organic matter. This IS exciting.

can it only be coincidence, dumb luck, or pure chance that the discovery of methane on Mars arrives at the same time Barrack Obama is becoming President?
I think not.
one might ask where, or how, this methane is created.
well folks, Barrack Obama has already given us the answer…..
(wait for it)
YES
THE
CAN
(sorry about that. you might wanna stop groaning and grunting now, we have more than enough methane here on earth.)
