To watch and see that exhaust plume is utterly amazing, the concentration and power and intense energy released in a stream that seems to go on and on, as extending from the frame of this gigantic roman candle… Wow! With a brightness of light, that is seemingly as intense as that of the sun. Neat-o!

Hello! I made a 3D screensaver where you can look at Earth from space. What do you think about realism of graphics?

Great video! That was captivating. What is the soundtrack music?

I don’t know, but I liked it also and was hoping it was credited but it wasn’t.

The music is by Bear McCreary for the remake of Battlestar Galactica. And yes I’ll reveal the true depth of my geekness by admitting to owning the soundtracks to the first 3 seasons.

Wow! I’m currently reading “How Apollo Flew to the Moon” by David Woods, and just yesterday read the chapter that goes into some detail on the S-IC (first stage) startup sequence. Very interesting to see this in slo-mo – thanks for posting it!

My Dad helped to design the Saturn V.
I have a flight manual, which was his.
    He died in 1991.
He was qualitiy control for all the electronics on the Apollo Missions.

Sorry to hear of your loss Sooze, but the fact that your Dad worked on the project is pretty darn cool!
